Why I Wanted Breast Augmentation
I have always been very flat chested and dreaded wearing bathing suits and hated bra shopping. I did not feel like a woman. friends would tell me in my early 20's you would be a perfect 10 if you had boobs and you must get a padded bra so I started the padded bra in my early 20's. i breast fed 3 children which left me with a very flat chest. Hated taking off my shirt in front of my husband and never let him touch my nipples since I had NO boobs and really realized just how flat I was after my BA. Flat as a board but padded bras made me look like a small C cup.

How I Went About Researching The Procedure & Finding My Doctor
I researched for 10 years . I researched on the web.

My Consultations
I went on 5 consults.

#1 When I lived in AZ, I found a wonderful office surgeon but could not afford the $3500 at the time.

2nd consult The doctor was not certified PS and was very strange, operated out of his house. Sept 2003 I ran out of there!

3rd consult I actually scheduled with this PS, he was Polish and hard to understand, very conservative. I chickened out the night prior to surgery.

4th consult May 2004 I have the nerve to do this and am doing it this time. This PS was from NYC and a complete jerk and did not listen to me at all. I scheduled surgery and canceled the next day after thinking about it more.

5th 5 is my lucky number I love my PS and he actually listened to me and almost read my mind. I scheduled with this one and love him! He is great. Before and after surgery which is important. Consults are important and you will know when you find the right one! Just keep looking and do not settle I was VERY discouraged and impatient but my patience and persistence paid off and I am happy.

Preparing For Surgery
I was scared and did not think about it. I printed the recovery list from this site and it worked wonders! Do it.

Surgery Day
I felt ashamed for doing it and was embarrassed and felt very selfish in the hospital. Until my anesthesiologist told me she had it done 3 yrs prior and that settled my mind a bit.

My Recovery
It is not easy and requires soooo much patience. You never know how it is going to be varies from person to person
