Anna's Long Breast Augmentation Journey (4 B.A.'s)

Post op: I have had 4 B.A.'s

Currently, I have 340cc silicone.....I can elaborate as I entered silicone study. I love them...no ripples.

First B.A. 325 cc saline, smooth, round, unders, crease incision, full C

Second B.A. 450 cc saline and donut lift, smooth, round, unders, crease incision, full D, Mentor

3rd B.A was a redo from going to 450 cc thus low body fat made me a candidate for silicone study

Why I Wanted Breast Augmentation
I felt very self conscious about having utters instead of boobs. LOL

I had previously had full natural C's. I did a fair amount of modeling and the pressure to lose weight...so unreal, caused me somehow to lose my boobs. They also had a lot of extra skin. I am someone who really likes to feel good on the outside. I feel internal beauty is paramount, but if one is tormented by something that feels completely horrible on the body...why not change it. It will not cure your life, but it certainly can help as long as your expectations are healthy. My B.A. has done wonders for me and my struggles.

Researching The Procedure & Surgeon
I have had other procedures. cheek implants, chin, rhinoplasties. I am aware of the top Doctors and went for numerous constitutions to see what was the the best fit. I asked previous patients about their experiences and I additionally looked up all information I could find online.

How My Consultations Went
They were all good. It was interesting t see what consistencies came about and which Doctors offered novel insight. Some are more conservative, others to willing to do whatever I thought I wanted. I narrowed it down to the best informed and the ones who had the best patient satisfaction.

Surgery Preparation
I bothered everyone around me....I take arnica, eat healthy, exercise, contact good friends and family so I will have support as needed. With B.A.'s they become significantly easier and more tolerable after the first one.

Gets lots of good food , movies, and books. Unfortunately, I purchased too many clothes since I could not wait to run around in a cute dress braless.

Surgery Day & How I Felt
It was different for each procedure. I always have so much excitement I seem to be less nervous. However, I make sure to follow rules and be healthy to myself to help with a successful recovery

Recovery
Thank God for good friends and Vicodin. LOL. That was B.A. one. It seemed to be bothersome the first 3 days. My Doctor was extremely supportive. It was nice to relax and feel the excitement of having made a choice I have wanted to act upon for a while. I slept a lot. My arms did not move freely but that was not an extreme impediment.

How Do I Feel Now?
Awesome and glad to be back. Life has had its ups and downs but I feel doing something healthy and psychologically nourishing...like a B.A. is well worth a few days of pain

Any Advice For Pre-ops? Tips, etc?

I have had quite an interesting path with body image. I am very open to talk about my struggles. I have had an eating disorder. My plastic surgery has helped me with my recovery. I am here for anyone who wants to talk or needs someone to listen
