Breast Implants 4 You's Executive Advisor, Walter L. Erhardt, Jr., MD, FACS, has maintained a leading private cosmetic surgery practice in Albany, Georgia, since 1979. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, he is licensed to practice medicine in both Georgia and Virginia.
Dr. Erhardt is a past president of the foremost plastic surgery association in the United States, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a current director of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and chairman of its Written Examination Committee. He has served as chief of surgery at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, where he is currently chairman of the Division of Plastic Surgery. He has also been a member of medical mission teams to India and El Salvador.
Dr. Erhardt graduated cum laude from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, in 1969. He obtained his MD in 1973 from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Erhardt is joined by Grant Stevens, MD, the medical director of Marina Plastic Surgery Associates in Marina Del Ray, California. Dr. Stevens is a past chairman of the department of surgery and the liposuction committee at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital, where he also served as co-director of the facility's Breast Center. Currently, he is on staff at St. John's Medical Center in Santa Monica, California, and is the medical director at Marina Outpatient Surgery Center in Marina Del Ray.
Dr. Stevens is a member of many professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the International College of Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Stevens is the past chairman of the California Medical Association Advisory Panel on Plastic Surgery.
He coined the term "gummy bear" implants as a way of explaining the highly cohesive silicone gel implants that are currently being studied. He is also the chair of the ASAPS media relations committee.
Dr. Stevens graduated with honors from Washington University Medical School in St. Louis. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor UCLA Medical Center before returning to Washington University-Barnes Hospital to complete a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
